1Sponsor

The Seven Forests School Challenge (the "Challenge") is sponsored by 909 Technologies, maker of Bija (bijamath.com) (the "Sponsor"). The Challenge is not administered, sponsored, or endorsed by any school or parent-teacher association unless expressly stated in writing.

2Eligibility

3Challenge period

The Challenge begins August 15, 2026 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and ends November 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (the "Challenge Period"). Only activity recorded by Bija during the Challenge Period counts. The Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.

4How to enter and take part

Participation is free. No payment or purchase of any kind is required or will improve a school's chances of winning.

5Prizes

Total prize pool: $1,000 USD, awarded as donations to the PTA or parent club of the winning schools as follows:

$500Grand Prize — Winning School Highest average Roots earned per active student during the Challenge Period.
$300Consistency Prize — Most Consistent School Highest average number of days practiced per active student.
$200Turnout Prize — Broadest School The most students who mastered more skills than the average number of skills mastered per active student across all participants.

Individual students at winning schools receive non-cash recognition only — for example a printable certificate or a digital badge. Prizes are not transferable and no substitution is offered except by the Sponsor.

Minimum participation: the Challenge requires at least two participating schools. If fewer than two schools have active students during the Challenge Period, no prizes are awarded, and the Sponsor may cancel, extend, or reschedule the Challenge.

6Definitions

Roots
Bija's in-app points, earned for correct answers and for mastering skills.
Active student
A student who has repped a participating school and practiced on at least 3 separate days during the Challenge Period. Only active students count toward a school's totals.
Mastered a skill
Brought a skill to "mastered" status (five correct answers in a row) during the Challenge Period.
Grand-Prize floor
To win the Grand Prize, a school must have at least 5 active students, so a single very active student cannot win it alone.

7Winner determination & tie-breakers

Winners are determined by the Sponsor from Bija's records after the Challenge Period ends. If two schools tie on a prize's measure, the tie is broken by the greater total number of skills mastered during the Challenge Period; if still tied, by the school that reached its winning figure earliest. The Sponsor's determinations are final and binding.

8Notification & payment

The Sponsor will contact each winning school's parent organization within 10 days of the Challenge Period ending, through the school. Prize donations are paid to the named parent organization within 30 days, subject to its acceptance and to confirmation that it is a registered non-profit in good standing (see Section 2). If a parent organization declines, is not a registered non-profit, or cannot be reached within 30 days, the Sponsor may award that prize to the next-eligible school or donate it to a local school's non-profit foundation.

9Fair play

Bija's records are authoritative. The Sponsor may disqualify any student, entry, or school it reasonably believes has: created multiple or duplicate accounts, shared an account, used automated or scripted play, exploited a bug, or otherwise attempted to manipulate results. The Sponsor may also void inflated or anomalous activity.

10Privacy

Participation is governed by Bija's privacy practices. A student's individual progress is visible only to that student and their family (and any tutor they choose to join). Public standings show school-level totals only — never an individual student's name or score. The Sponsor uses participation data only to run and score the Challenge.

11General conditions

The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or end the Challenge if it cannot be run as planned — for example due to a technical failure, tampering, or a cause outside the Sponsor's control. By taking part, participants and their parents agree to these Official Rules and to the Sponsor's decisions, which are final. To the extent permitted by law, the Sponsor is not liable for any loss arising from participation. This Challenge is governed by the laws of the State of California.
